PATRON DAY - FRIDAY JULY 11, 2008
The annual Patron Day provides you and your party the perfect opportunity to independently experience the peace and serenity of the gardens before the general weekend tour. Each level of Patron Day ticket comes with a unique set of amenities.
Patron Day ticket holders are welcomed into the gardens by a garden docent and enjoy refreshments and beverages. Patron guests receive a packet of information including driving directions along with a general admission tour ticket that allows unlimited visits to the gardens over the weekend, using air-conditioned shuttle buses provided by Kitsap transit. In addition, Patron Day ticket holders receive a Bainbridge in Bloom Garden Tour poster signed by the artist,
Sophie Frieda.

NEW THIS YEAR! - SPECIAL FEATURES
In celebration of Bainbridge in Bloom’s 20th anniversary, special added features are being offered for 2008. These features are only available to paid Garden Enthusiast ticket holders. There is an additional fee as indicated at each feature. Tickets are limited in each category, and there are deadlines for these sales.
Photographing the Garden: $35
(Available until 5pm Tuesday, July 8)
Get an in-depth look into photographing the garden through the eyes and camera lens of Bainbridge Island photographer, Harry Longstreet. Mr. Longstreet worked in the televison and film business for 25 years, then turned his attention to his passion of fine art photography. He also was a writer/producer/director on network and cable TV series such as the X-Files, Fame, Voyagers, and Alien Nation. Since August 2005, his work has been accepted into more than sixty national juried exhibitions.
To capture morning light, this tour will be held up until about 2pm, allowing time for you to visit the other gardens.
Lunch with Little and Lewis: $35
(Available until 5pm Tuesday, July 8)
Meet George Little and David Lewis at their nationally recognized garden. This famous and intriquing garden will be closing to the public soon so take advantage of this "last chance" to meet the artists and see their stunning garden. Open from noon to 2pm with box lunch/beverage offered throughout the two hours.
Bloom Plants 101: $35 (Box lunch included)

Be guided through the 5 gardens with Wendy Tweten, Northwest garden writer. Ms. Tweten’s humorous and informative article "Miss Snippy" routinely appears in Northwest Garden News. Wendy also contributes to WestSound Home and Garden magazine, RainySide Gardener online, and Home by Design. A former gardener-for-hire and student of nursery management at South Seattle Community College, Wendy now devotes her time to her own, ever-expanding garden on the Kitsap Peninsula.
With Wendy’s plant acumen you will come up-close and personal with the Bloom plants and experience an in-depth look at the splendid lives of plants.
You will be with Wendy from 10-3pm, which gives you additional time to revisit some gardens or enjoy the second sitting of afternoon tea at the Bullivant garden.
Authentic English Cream Tea: $30
(Available until 5pm Monday, July 7)
Wear your pretty garden hat and enjoy the beautiful garden setting as you sip tea and enjoy some merry ole’ English favorites. Your hosts and garden owners are John and Kathleen Bullivant who came to Bainbridge Island from Manchester and Cornwall, England. Two sittings: 2:30-3:30 and 3:45-4:45. Parties of 4 encouraged.

Garden Enthusiast - $65.00

The Garden Enthusiast ticket includes:
- The opportunity to "drive-it-yourself" in the comfort of your car.
- Complimentary refreshments in the gardens from 10 a.m to 5 p.m.
- Bainbridge in Bloom Garden Tour poster signed by the selected Bainbridge Island artist.
- Unlimited garden visits via Kitsap Transit buses on Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Dinner - $65.00

The site chosen for the evening dinner party is at an exclusive south-end garden surrounded by towering trees with a stunning Olympic Mountain view. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and are part of the owner’s 27 acres located by Gazzam Lake.
We will feature an on-site bar-b-que and foot stompin' country music by a local band. Wine and beverages included. Art auction will be featured as well.

Benefactor - $325.00
This ticket level is the Ultimate Garden Experience!
You will enjoy the day being driven in courtesy vans so you can relax and take in the lovely scenery of Bainbridge Island between the gardens. Begin the day with coffee and pastries at the famous garden of George Little and David Lewis and meet the famous duo behind the garden art. This is the last summer their garden will be open to the public. They have graciously opened their garden for this special "last look" at their intriguing and splendid garden.
You will tour the 5 special Bloom gardens and mid-day enjoy a catered luncheon at an exclusive beach-front home surrounded by beautiful gardens which was chosen especially for Benefactor ticket holders.
Daniel Sparler, the Bloom’s special invited guest, will serve as your guide to the gardens. Mr. Sparler, a teacher at the Northwest School, travels widely, and writes for local garden magazines, such as the Washington Park Arboretum Bulletin and the Northwest Horticultural Society’s Garden Notes. His garden has been featured by Valerie Easton, Debra Prinzing, Thomas Hobbs, Sunset Magazine, and HGTV. Mr. Sparler is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Northwest Horticultural Society. He has served as docent at Heronswood, and "challenges every conceivable notion of zonal appropriateness in his Seattle garden."
You will also receive a special gift and a signed poster of "Floral Dance" which is a lovely interpretation of oriental lilies by artist, Sophie Frieda.
At the end of the garden tour day, you will be our guest at an evening dinner party at yet another exclusive private garden. This beautifully landscaped garden is surrounded by towering trees and encompasses 27 acres near Gazzam Lake, on the south end of the Island. Casual is the word as we will feature a delicious on-site barbque and feature some foot stomping country music. This will truly be a perfect finish to a glorious day enjoying the garden tour.
