2008 Bloom Bus Hub

Free Garden Tour Shuttle

linee

Bus Hub
<---> Gardens:
The 2008 BUS HUB is a centrally located site that provides adequate space for tour guests to park and board Kitsap Transit buses for transportation to the gardens. No personal vehicles are allowed at the gardens on Saturday and Sunday.

Kitsap Transit buses provide free transportation throughout the weekend on a streamlined route, using the largest and most luxurious vehicles in their fleet. As available, Bloom bus hosts will be on board to provide information and historical background of Bainbridge Island throughout the bus route.

The BUS HUB is located behind Commodore School and close to the BI aquatic center and BI School District building. Commodore School is on the corner of Madison and High School Road. Parking is located in surrounding schools, churches and businesses as indicated with signage. Please honor any "no parking" signs. Maps>>

Bus Hub
<---> Ferry Terminal:
Service is provided between the ferry terminal and the BUS HUB, with drop-offs along Winslow Way on all return trips to the ferry terminal. Kitsap Transit will be at the Bainbridge Ferry Terminal to meet the ferries departing Seattle 8:45am-12:20pm. Final departure from Bus Hub is 5:30pm.

***Please Note

There will be a dedicated bus leaving the BUS HUB all day to take guests to one of the gardens located in Wing Point. Due to a single lane road leading to the garden, it is necessary to use a second smaller shuttle bus that will take you to the garden. The Kitsap Transit green bus will take you to a drop-off point in Wing Point, where you will then board the Agate Pass Transportation shuttle and take a short ride through a charming neighborhood to the beautiful waterfront garden of Denny and Diane Driggs.

To see the other gardens, return on the large green bus back to BUS HUB and board any available bus that will then take you to the other gardens. As a bus will be going to the Driggs' garden all day, you can decide when to visit their stunning garden. However, if you would like to stop at the garden of Little and Lewis (Saturday and Sunday special added garden) on the way to the Driggs garden, this garden will close early (3 p.m.). Please plan accordingly to give yourself enough time.
